Tart with traditional Polish
Myśliwska (Hunter’s) sausage

  • 250 g traditional Polish Myśliwska sausage
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of flour
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1/2 cup of double cream
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 160 g grated cheese

In a frying pan, caramelise the onion. Season with salt and, stirring, fry for about 4-5 minutes. Then stew the onion for about 15-20 minutes, without browning it. After this time it should be soft, slightly caramelised and sweet. Remove from the pan and place in a bowl. Add diced Myśliwska sausage and grated cheese mixed with flour. Mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk, cream, salt and pepper. Put the filling on the baked pastry, pour over the egg, milk and cream mixture and bake for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy
